Kids Mathematics - Properties of Division
1. When a number is divided by "1", we get the "same number" as quotient.
Examples:
6 ÷ 1 = 6
4 ÷ 1 = 4
12 ÷ 1 = 12
2. When a number is divided by" itself", we get "1" as the quotient.
Examples:
4 ÷ 4 = 1
9 ÷ 9 = 1
13 ÷ 13 = 1
3. When "0" is divided by any number, we get "0" as the quotient. 
Examples:
0 ÷ 3 = 0
0 ÷ 5 = 0
0 ÷ 8 = 0
4. A number cannot be divided by "0"
